This AW19 collection 'textiles futures' features two themes; architecture and my grandad's illnesses. All the prints are a combination of both themes. This collection has been all sustainable sourced using recycled materials; I reused old duvet sheets, pillow cases, bed sheets, warding and bubble wrap as the materials for this project. Print techniques used in this collection range from screen printing using opaque binder, puff binder and foil to digital dye sub printing. I also experimented with laser cutting in this collection, I used architecture shape to create the laser cut that laid over three of my prints. I wanted to bring objects into my collection that where the tablets come from. Also combined in this collection was embellishment which included quilting, beads and 3D circles. This collection is ski jackets for Womenswear.
